Sewafrica Fashion College is inviting all suitable unemployed individuals to apply for their 2022/2023 Learnership opportunities
Purpose
Sewafrica Fashion College is offering a Pattern Making Learnership opportunity to candidates with sewing experience who would like to further their skills and learn to make patterns. The learnership is offered in partnership with the Fibre Processing and Manufacturing (FP&M) SETA.
Duration:
The programme will start in October 2022 and end in September 2023, and will run from Monday to Friday each day.
Minimum Requirements
- Must be a South African citizen or have a study or work visa valid until September 2023
- Must have completed Grade 11
- Must have passed English and Mathematics in Grade 11
- Must know how to sew on domestic or industrial sewing machines
- Must be willing to commit to completing the programme

- Candidates will be required to complete a Numeracy, Literacy and Sewing assessment, as well as attend an interview before the selection is made.
